Danielle Pickersgill from our fundraising committee has set up a Go Fund Me page to help raise money for new starting blocks. The old blocks are vey old and are barely fit for purpose. The new blocks will be more like the swimmers use for competitions at opens, mini league and Essex Championships. Hopefully with the addition of the blocks the swimmers will be able to perfect their race starts and make them even more competitive at galas. We have already had support from local businesses including donations from Carless Haltermann and TC North Essex Ltd.
