Marley Carr, a member of the Harwich Dovercourt & Parkeston Swimming Club (HDPSC), put in an impressive performance at the Swim England East Region Championships. He began the competition by winning the 50m Backstroke event with a time of 34:22. Marley’s time was the fastest in the event, and he demonstrated great stamina and control in the water.
Marley then went on to win the 12 and under 50m Butterfly with a time of 32:15, showing excellent technique and skill in the pool.
In the 50m Freestyle event, Marley put in an excellent performance, finishing with a time of 29:70, which was the second-fastest time in the event. Marley showed great determination and speed throughout the race.
Marley also competed in the 100m Freestyle and the 200m IM just missing out on the finals.
Overall, Marley’s performance was outstanding, and he should be incredibly proud of his achievements at the Swim England East Region Championships. Winning the 50m Backstroke and 50m Butterfly events was particularly impressive, and it’s clear that Marley Carr, representing the Harwich Dovercourt & Parkeston Swimming Club, has a bright future ahead of them in the sport of swimming.
